During today’s highly anticipated Dragon Ball Battle Hour event, excitement soared as the new DLC trailer for “Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero” was unveiled. Titled “Sparking Zero Super Limit Breaking NEO,” this expansion promises to deliver an enriching experience for fans of the franchise.
Two months ago, a teaser hinted at what players could expect from this DLC, revealing the introduction of new characters such as King Piccolo, Grandpa Gohan, Mercenary Tao, and several others. While the initial teaser showcased the beloved Kame House stage, today’s presentation provided fans with a comprehensive reveal, highlighting not only these intriguing characters but also an array of stunning new stages and costumes that the community has eagerly anticipated.
This latest DLC expansion features a roster of characters drawn from both “Dragon Ball” and “Dragon Ball GT,” expanding the gameplay options and strategies available to players.

With so much content on the horizon, players are sure to be engaged in thrilling battles, whether they’re reliving classic moments or creating new ones. There is also a new mode that Zeno created. This new mode will have players selecting a destination on the map and fighting selected fighters across three stages. Once you win your battle, you will level up and be able to grow stronger throughout your encounters. This might remind old-school Dragon Ball games of the training mode in GT, where you could fight against characters and make your punches, kicks, or energy blasts superior as you continued to train. You were then able to fight friends by saving your powered-up character on the memory card and squaring off against your friends’ powered-up characters.
As of now, the 4th DLC is set to arrive this summer but has not yet received an official release date.
