Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Officially Announced

During a screening of the Gekijō-ban Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film, Junya Enoki, the voice of Jujutsu Kaisen’s main character Yuji Itadori announced that a second season of the anime will arrive in 2023! The Jujutsu Kaisen manga series was written & illustrated by Gege Akutami & was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump in March 2018. The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.

The anime series aired 24 episodes from October 3, 2020, to March 27, 2021. The anime was produced by MAPPA & was directed by Sunghoo Park.
