Knives Out Sequel Set To Premiere At Toronto International Film Festival

Netflix’s Knives Out sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, gets a premiere update. The film will premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.

The sequel will again have Rian Johnson at the helm & will star Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc, Edward Norton, Leslie Odom Jr., Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista.

Knives Out hit theaters in 2019 & starred Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, Lakeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell, and Christopher Plummer. The film follows a master detective (Craig) investigating the death of the patriarch of a wealthy, dysfunctional family. The film grossed $311.4 million worldwide against a $40 million budget.

Last year, Netflix paid $469 million for the rights to two sequels written and directed by Johnson. The sequel will be released exclusively on Netflix this December.
