Sean Marshall Warner Bros. Pictures is pushing forward heavily with their 2019 Joker standalone film. We saw some leaked set photos released today & saw an official image of Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck/Joker that was released by director Todd Phillips. Alec Baldwin was confirmed to play Thomas Wayne in the film, but it looks like we can close the door on that, because of scheduling conflicts.
It was announced today that Brett Cullen will be playing Thomas Wayne in the Joker film. This is very interesting to see that they’re including the Waynes in the Joker origin film & we are looking forward to seeing how this unfolds on the big screen.
Joker will hit theaters on October 4, 2019. The film is directed by Todd Phillips & stars Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, Robert De Niro, Frances Conroy, Marc Maron, & Bryan Callen.
