Most known for his role as the third iteration of James Bond, Sir Roger Moore has passed away at the age of 89 from Cancer. His children took to twitter to break the news, the link can be found below.
Moore took over the role of the world’s coolest super spy 007 after the brief tenure of George Lazenby and after Sean Connery had played Bond for the last time in ‘Diamonds Are Forever’. He went on to have the longest run of any bond actor (Yes, even Sean Connery), having starred in 7 films between 1973 and 1985. Our hearts go out to his wife Kristina Tholstrup and his three children.
With the heaviest of hearts, we must share the awful news that our father, Sir Roger Moore, passed away today. We are all devastated. pic.twitter.com/6dhiA6dnVg
